Synthetic Bone Substitute
Cgel is an osteoconductive synthetic hydroxyapatite gel that promotes bone growth, designed to fill bone defects in orthopedic or spinal surgery.
Osteoinduction: Thanks to its hydroxyapatite nanoparticles, Cgel offers a high specific surface area (>80 m²/g) allowing contact with bone tissue and providing an exchange surface for osteoblastic activity
and bone regeneration.
Clinical benefits
The gel consists of hydroxyapatite nanoparticles (Ca5[PO4] 3OH) suspended in water, with particle sizes ranging from 100 to 200 nm.
Indications
Cgel is indicated for filling bone defects due to bone injury (such as trauma, disease) or surgical intervention (such as arthrodesis, intervertebral cage filling).
