Cookie Policy
What are cookies and what are they used for?
A cookie is a small text file stored on the user’s device (computer, tablet, smartphone, etc.) through their web browser when visiting a website.
Cookies have different functions: they can remember your language preferences, collect anonymous traffic statistics, or ensure the security and proper technical functioning of the website.
There are two main categories of cookies:
- Technical (or essential) cookies: They are essential for the website to function and are placed automatically, without requiring prior authorization.
- Cookies subject to your consent: They relate to detailed audience measurement, advertising, or social sharing features. They are only placed if you expressly accept them.

3. Personal data and web analytics applications (Google Analytics)
COUSIN BIOTECH uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, 4 Barrow Street, Dublin, Ireland).
- Anonymization: We use Google Analytics 4, which natively integrates IP address anonymization. Your IP address is therefore shortened by Google within the European Union before any transfer or storage, ensuring the protection of your anonymity. The data collected is not merged with other Google data.
- Additional tools: In order to analyze this performance securely, COUSIN BIOTECH also uses Google Tag Manager (tracking script management) and Google BigQuery (internal statistical hosting and querying, without advertising cross-referencing).
- Legal basis and Transfers: The legal basis for this processing is exclusively your consent (Art. 6(1)a of the GDPR). As Google Ireland Ltd is certified compliant with the EU-US data protection framework (Data Privacy Framework), technical transfers of statistical data to Google’s infrastructure are carried out in full regulatory compliance.
For more information, you can consult Google’s Privacy Policy.
4. How to modify or withdraw your consent?

You can modify your choices or withdraw your consent at any time very easily. Simply click on the Axeptio widget permanently available at the bottom left (or right) of your screen to reopen the cookie management panel.
