Clinical benefits

The C DISC is based on an innovative biomechanical concept, using only safe and recognized materials, extensively validated in disc and joint prostheses for many years.

Its architecture reproduces physiological cervical kinematics through:

  • controlled mobility in five directions (flexion, extension, lateral bending, rotation and translation)
  • a dual axis of rotation ensuring self-centering of the implant core,
  • an inverted design with a center of rotation located in the superior vertebra.

The C DISC also offers:

  • effective primary fixation through rows of trapezoidal teeth
  • optimized secondary fixation through sandblasting and a 150 µm porous plasma titanium coating promoting osteointegration.
  • controlled mobility through a core designed to limit movement beyond a defined range.

The C DISC is the only prosthesis delivered pre-assembled on a metal clamp that offers unparalleled grip and allows surgeons to reposition the implant without premature disconnection.
