Motion Days France 2026: What Role for Spinal Mobility Preservation?
The first edition of Motion Days France, organized by Cousin, brought together spinal surgeons and neurosurgeons from across France to discuss a central therapeutic issue: motion preservation in the management of spinal pathologies.
A look back at the highlights of these clinical discussions and the evolution of practices in the face of the limitations of systematic fusion.
During this first edition of Motion Days, practitioners shared their experiences in the management of lumbar and cervical segments: rich and constructive exchanges, starting from concrete clinical cases and exploring a large part of the therapeutic techniques available today.
The diversity of approaches and conclusions highlights the full complexity of therapeutic decisions surgeons face daily.
The Motion Days also allowed participating surgeons to exchange with Cousin teams on the specific contributions of textile implants, non-rigid dynamic stabilization implants, and their ability to mimic the viscoelastic behavior of natural connective tissues.
The success of these first Motion Days France confirms the surgical community’s interest in direct exchange formats, focused on the reality of the operating room and critical analysis of concrete cases. Through these exchanges and the scientific advancements discussed together, Cousin aims to contribute to advancing reflections and broadening the range of therapeutic options, to better meet the specific needs of each patient.
With the launch of Motion Days, Cousin continues its commitment to healthcare teams through its training programs, expert committees, and support for clinical research.
