Cousin is taking part in the second edition of 3CVD, a new unifying congress for digestive surgery
From September 15 to 18, 2026, Cousin will take part in the 2nd edition of 3CVD (Congrès Commun de Chirurgie Viscérale et Digestive). This major event brings together all stakeholders in the specialty around a shared ambition: to advance patient care through innovation, training and the sharing of best practices.
The 3CVD congress is a key moment for the medical community: it brings together 9 French-speaking learned societies in visceral and digestive surgery (ACHBPT, AFC, AFCE, BIG RENAPE, SFCD, SFCE, SFCP-CH, SFCU, SOFFCO-MM).
A shared forum for reflection, innovation and exchange among visceral surgeons, the 3CVD congress offers a unique space where expertise, a cross-disciplinary approach and forward-looking perspectives come together, while gradually paving the way for broader collaboration with other interventional specialties.
Over four days, conferences and interactive workshops enable private and hospital surgeons to share their expertise and help advance Cousin’s standards of care: alongside practitioners to build tomorrow’s surgery together
A pioneer in the design of textile implants and medical devices for abdominal wall reconstruction and visceral surgery, Cousin fully supports this collective momentum.
In particular, the company will present its surgical solutions, designed and selected in close collaboration with practitioners.
- Range of abdominal wall reinforcement implants, developed since 1994, offering innovative solutions that make surgeons’ work easier and improve patients’ quality of life.
- Innovative anti-adhesion and haemostatic solution
- Surgical and skin adhesives
- ENER REACH dual-energy platform
- Tackers for mesh fixation
- Mechanical stapling
- Polymer or titanium clips
This participation is also an opportunity for Cousin to present training modules, workshops and experience-sharing sessions on new surgical techniques and the latest technological developments.
