On the occasion of the 20th Annual Congress of the Deutschen Wirbelsäulengesellschaft (German Spine Society), the teams at Cousin Surgery are organising an exclusive workshop dedicated to the new C Disc cervical prosthesis.
This workshop will detail the biomechanical performance of this innovative prosthesis and its clinical results. It will be led by:
- François Carlier, Director of the Spine Division at Cousin Surgery
- Prof. Wafa Skalli, founder and president of a research centre specialising in spinal biomechanics
- Prof. Yann-Philippe Charles, Head of the Spinal Surgery Department, Strasbourg University Hospitals
The C Disc prosthesis features a unique biomechanical design and uses proven materials to maintain physiological movement patterns. It is the first inverted cervical prosthesis with a double centre of rotation.
Its innovative design ensures controlled mobility in five directions and offers self-centring and self-stabilisation to preserve the natural kinematics of the cervical spine.
It is particularly suitable for the treatment of disc herniation, disc protrusion with spinal canal stenosis and mild to moderate spinal osteoarthritis.
The workshop will take place on:
- Wednesday, 10 December 2025
- 1:00 p.m. > 2:30 p.m.
- DWG 2025 / Wiesbaden
- RheinMain CongressCenter
- Studio 1.3 A+B
